Zoro

Zoro is a petite, playful 1–2-year-old boy weighing around 12kg, with a mischievous, impish charm and a gentle, people-focused nature that makes him instantly endearing. Found abandoned and now safe in rescue, he has shown himself to be affectionate, adaptable, and wonderfully social with other dogs, while also being naturally drawn to human companionship. Light, lively, and elegant in build, Zoro is the perfect mix of fun and sensitivity—confident enough to engage with the world, yet humble and easy to live with. He would suit a home looking for a joyful little companion who loves interaction, play, and simply being part of daily life, whether that’s with a family, couple, or individual ready to give him the love he’s been waiting for.

About the dog

Diminutive impish adorable ‘Zoro’ only 12kg fully grown, great with other dogs & wants to be around you. 1-2yrs of age:

A little bit about me in my own words:

When leesa came to visit it was almost like I was teasing her- going forward then jumping back again- I’m so prankish & cheerful. It’s also hard to compete with all my friends who also want attention (understandably) & I’m far too well mannered to jump the queue. I might be jaunty though I don’t push my way through. If you’re a family with playful dog savvy kids then I would enjoy their interactions & running around the garden with them. Leesa says I also have a meek & humble side to me & I think that shows in the videos. Elves can be mischievous though they can also be calm, gentle & yielding. I’m told I have many qualities to my personality. I have an elegant frame being petite & lean & that makes me very appealing. If you’re looking for a dog that’s isn’t a toy one though they aren’t quite a medium either then I’m your lad. I have a vulnerability mixed in with my spirited approach and I’m very drawn to be around people. Even though I don’t know the visitors well - the kind of bond I’m looking for- I didn’t want to stray far away from them and came bounding to their voice without recall training. Most of the dogs Leesa tries to find good homes for just want to be loved like me and we naturally generate towards any whiff of kindness. I can also be confident & express my needs & nature with other dogs so don’t worry if you’ve a more dominant or indeed docile natured resident pooch as I’ll adapt.

My sad past:

I was abandoned by someone who didn’t care about me- they just left me to starve to death, get run over or anything else that may have befallen me. I was so afraid & lonely. Then I went to a shelter after being found in November 25’ but leesa said that didn’t make me safe because it’s a pound where we can be given to people who aren’t nice or recycled back into homelessness. The charity will explain more and it’s all in their introductory pack i hear. Leesa is dedicating her life to helping dogs like me so let’s hope things will be looking up for me soon Could you be my special person/s? Have you got a life that you can open up to me & and/or a family with a big heart?
