About Kiki

The tranquil, easy going & gentle gal called ‘Kiki’ a soft 6yr old companion for people & animals alike

A little bit about me in my own words Leesa could use so many adjectives to describe me & none she says would come close to telling you just how amiable & adorable I am. I’m like memory foam- I’ll just mould around you & whatever is going on on that day- if I finally get my day. I need someone to choose me for that. I’ve waited now for quite a while & as I’m described as beautiful on the inside & out I’m not sure why they aren’t queuing up round the block for me. Leesa says my time will come soon so I have to believe that. She’s also mentioned that I’m at risk and not yet safe from harm. You can ask her about this if you’d like to learn more. Whilst I try not to dwell on that I am worried that despite having so much to offer I may meet my fate before my special person comes along.

In terms of size well I might not be a Jack Russell but I wager I’m a whole lot smaller in my needs. I’m not a really large dog though I’ve a fluffy girth & a barrel bum. My coat adds to my larger look though because I amble along & even my speeded up pace is in slow-mo that means I occupy a smaller space. Leesa wrote this below about the slightly larger dogs & it describes me well.

“No big breeds aren’t boisterous Size is determined by more than a measurement. Personality also determines this.

I cannot emphasis enough the reality of big dogs over misconception.

They can get overlooked not because of anything they did or didn’t do ~ but because of misjudgment.

They remain a beautiful paradox.

They can walk small, gallop lightly, jump in slow motion, amble invisibly, move occasionally & live often

inconspicuously…… it’s not all that they are though the point is it can be some of what defines them.

They are a divine conundrum. They may not be a Jack Russell terrier but I wager a lot of them are a whole lot smaller in their needs. I’ve seen a chihuahua bark louder, play wilder, dominate harder, pull stronger, jump higher and demand a far greater space and time slot than that of our bigger to giant breed boys & girls.”

That doesn’t mean I don’t have a definite spring in my step. I’m a joyful & loyal companion & you’ll have hearty & waggy tail greetings. I can keep up on walks no problem & happy to play with other dogs. I don’t need Snowdonia hiking but I’m not past it :) I guess I’m the best of all worlds. If you are younger or older it won’t make a difference. I’ll happily learn to walk up a ramp if you need into your car & lozzocking around in a garden after a gentle walk will be fine. I won’t get under your feet & trip you up & you can stroke me without bending down to ground level. It’s easy to get a harness on me at my height (you can see where I come up to on the pictures) & all in all I’m a great addition to any household. I’m fabulous with children & other animals & also happy to be a single living dog. The welfare describes me as an all round perfect lass. I’m so placid and laid back. Please choose me.
