A little bit about me in my own words Leesa is desperate to get all the dogs she’s currently helping advertised so please excuse me if I can’t talk about myself for long. There will always be more every day though. I’m Male, 2.5 yrs old & as you can see fluffy. I look like a little bear don’t I or a Pom Pom? My predicament is that I’ve only ever known destitution, abandonment, rejection & indifference. I’ve also faced cultural stigmas because of my colour. I was born in a country that mostly dislikes me just because I’m a dog, then on top of the dark coat & before you know it I found myself in a government shelter. As though things weren’t bad enough it’s a pound that will, due to its municipality policies, put all its lovely residents back into homelessness or give us to people who may not be kind. Then I was taken by a visitor one day who said they wanted to ‘adopt’ me who after a while took me back to the pound with lots of excuses the resident vet said. I’d escaped allegedly but truth is they weren’t bothered what I did and didn’t cherish me.

The charity called me ‘CORBIN’-norse for raven & I’m massively affectionate & love people. I’m not a fan of other dogs currently though that could change. I just need time and exposure to them though if you’re a one dog kind of household and love the look of me at least you don’t have to take me on doggy play dates. I’ve been around lots of dogs though when I say ‘expisure’ i refer to access in a happy place where I am relaxed & can find my place in life at long last. I’m not very old but 2.5 yrs is too long to wait for compassion. Some people aren’t keen on other humans and I’m just better left to my own devices at the moment alongside my special person.
