A little bit about me in my own words

Leesa the charity rescuer & founder says that I’m a muppet & I guess she’s right. I’m always gurning away & my smile caught her attention when we first met in April of 26’. She’d gone to the shelter to help poor souls like me who are at risk (ask to learn more &/ or read the charities introductory pack when you make an enquiry) & she spotted me. Well, she had no choice because I came bounding over to her, matted bottom locks blowing in the wind oblivious to my vagabond coat, my situation, my abandonment & everything else bar being ecstatic to see people. My personality & spirit is contagious & makes everyone around me feel good. For that reason amongst many, I will make a great companion. I only have eyes for love & nothing gets me down. I’m just this upbeat ball of unadulterated jauntiness. I’m not boisterous- that’s different. I’m just a pure soul undeterred by the fact that no one has ever cherished me. I love bomb you in the most endearing way. You just can’t help but desire me right back and I have that effect on everyone. Leesa described me as a “light up the ‘room’ kind of guy”- If only I had a home to do that in. With my cheerful personality I’m somewhat irresistible. I have nothing & no-one but I think (leesa put it in my head) that there is someone out there who adores shaggy black dogs. Look no further. You can’t put me down. I’m the optimistic ‘person’ that hangs on to hope when all hope has faded. I absolutely love spending time with other dogs, your cats won’t bother me, your children can cuddle me & if you have none of those things then let’s just spend time in the garden together after a walk on the beach maybe? Take me camping if you like &/or strolls on the local footpaths. I really don’t mind what we do. I’m 6yrs old and whilst I don’t need or want to climb mountains I’m so fun loving & effortlessly bright that you can take me anywhere & stay active with me. If you’re sad I’ll pick you up and you can save me. We need each other I guess. Whether you’re younger or older I’m adaptable because I’m not slow or fast lane- I’m happily in between. I’ll be the hearth of your home- sleep for hours & everyone will stop to pet me. A grooming session wouldn’t go a miss & cuddles on the sofa & at bedtime would be heaven. Please choose me and make me as happy as I will make you
