These two are good friends and clearly take comfort in one another, and while they can be rehomed separately if that’s what saves them, we would much prefer to keep them together if possible. The ginger boy is a very sweet, medium-sized lad, estimated to be around 4–5 years old, with a little grey on his face that only adds to his character and gentle charm. He was close to being put back out, but his kindness made it impossible to overlook him, and he has been given a little more time while we search for the right home. His female companion is equally deserving and showed some signs of food guarding today, which we note transparently and would expect to improve with routine, reassurance, and a settled home. Both dogs are simply looking for stability, understanding, and a chance to feel safe — whether together, ideally, or apart if that is what ultimately saves them.
