Hannah
Hannah is a fairy-like, gentle little soul with a joyful spark – a dainty, light-footed girl who can be calm and serene one moment and delightfully entertaining the next. Around 2–2.5 years old, she is affectionate without being demanding, loves human attention, and gets on beautifully with other dogs and children. Having come through heartbreak with quiet resilience, Hannah has blossomed into a confident, loving companion who asks for very little and gives so much in return. Petite-medium in size with a graceful presence, she would suit active individuals, families, or a home with resident pets, and would thrive where kindness, stability, and companionship are plentiful. Now available in Wales, Hannah is ready for her forever home – a truly special girl waiting to be chosen. ✨🐾
About Hannah
‘Hannah’ the fairy like gentle girl who can also be the entertaining she-elf approximately 2-2.5yrs old – Wales
In the videos & pictures accompanying this appeal please meet leesa the rescuer, private individuals independent of the welfare, leesas mum carol doing the videos in many cases, the resident vet & the beautiful ‘Hannah’.
A little bit about their history because they are not defined by it & get through it like the phenomenal gentle souls that they are.
When I first saw this tranquil & resigned looking female who my mum would later call ‘Hannah’ she had been taken to a pound where the lives of its residents are vulnerable to the wrong ‘owner’ or homelessness (ask to learn more), she was full of milk with no babies to feed (their whereabouts unknown – though we can take an educated guess) & she looked so dejected. The immediate issue was Mastitis given that she had no pups to feed. I said there & then that I would help her & find her a home. This was in May 25’. Vetinary intervention was required when my appeal for orphaned pups came to no avail & 6 months later she’s being sent to foster at the welfares expense to save her life. When she’s adopted this will be reimbursed by the adopter to save another soul.
We don’t discriminate against any animal or human regardless of size, age and appearance etc. That means that all shapes & sizes of abandoned rescues get the opportunity they deserve. Hannah is immensely pretty it’s just she’s been a long time waiting.
Their adorable natures, (please contact us to learn more).
She had a delicacy & sadness about her brought on by grief at the loss of her babies. Did she see them hurt or ripped away from her? The cruelty of that act alone is surly worthy of her future being bright and brimming over with love. She was a devoted mother who lost her children & now it’s time for Hannah to know that kindness does exist.
There is something gracious & delicate in her air when she cants along like she’s at crufts. She’s so dainty like & light on her paws as though fairy wings are keeping her aloft. With her new found friends & in her mind ‘freedom’ she is a confident & joyful companion. She doesn’t push you for attention though loves it & is finding her new ‘life’ a much improved one because she asks like all of them, for so little.
She has no idea that without break the chains to save her she’ll have this ‘home’ taken from her just like her pups. The shelters are not ok places to be unless you’re being cherry picked for all the wrong reasons. Yet Hannah is the wee sprite with so much to offer, loving humans, other dogs & children & should be snapped up.
She has bounced back like they all do virtually and is spirited as-well as docile & calm. Hannah’s age is perfect for both younger and older people who are active and perhaps have other family members &/or resident animals though single living folk who are around to keep her company in the day also fit the bill.
There is always a risk in foster that the foster family will fall in love and we will not of course uproot her if they decide to formally adopt. We will give Hannah the time to decompress & keep you posted.
A volunteer that visited the pound independently of our organisation described her as a:-
“Popular girl at moment. Would have you stroking her all day. So loving.” 27/8/25
Please note: every dog is an individual & different aspects present themselves dependant on their companion (is that you?)😃 & as they blossom in their new secure environment. For example a dog that does not walk in a shelter may cant along like they are at crufts day two in a new home.
