China

China is a handsome 6-month-old boy with a gentle, thoughtful nature and a quiet dignity that makes him easy to overlook in a busy shelter environment—but unforgettable once you notice him. Sensitive and affectionate, he prefers not to compete for attention, instead showing his sweet character through his calm interactions with dogs of all ages and sizes, from playful puppies to senior companions. While naturally a little bashful around more confident dogs, he is never fearful and continues to blossom as his confidence grows. China is a loving young dog with a soft heart, a peaceful presence, and enormous potential to become a devoted family companion. Having never known a home of his own, he is ready to leave his difficult beginnings behind and discover what it means to truly belong.

About China

Demure, sensitive boy ‘China’ with his dignified presence as well as letting himself be known- great with goldies, small dogs, pups etc. Will make someone a devoted & placid companion ©

A little bit about me in my own words Well leesa has been trying to finish the catalogue appeals for the dogs she’s currently trying to home (with so many more to help daily) that I’m not sure how much time I have to promote myself. She’ll need to get my post ‘out there’. If I don’t get advertised how will anyone know I exist? Mind you - what’s new there?! I have never been cherished, never been loved, known, cared for or noticed. I’m the faceless dog in the shadows that doesn’t hide away because I do want to be part of something more but because I’m not the cutest or most responsive I am just overlooked. I am at risk in a government pound and I don’t know any charity personally that would take me under their umbrella to home me when they could take the easier ones instead. If they’re out there where are they? Break the Chains BG /UK however did look my way. In April while the rescuer was photographing other potentially lucky & needy boys n girls including a senior who will stay at the sanctuary, she noticed me. I’m not actually sure how to promote myself at all because I’m not showing myself in the way the audience needs hugging the background as I do. It’s because I’m a gracious boy that doesn’t compete with the more confident ones that i don’t rush forward. It’s because I’m sympathetic to the needs of others & unsure where to place myself that you may miss me. It’s a quality & a hinderence. I have no clue that my life depends upon ‘performing’ unless of course you’re that one in a million that adopts the dog that needs you not always the dog that you ‘want’. At 4 months old in April 26’ now 6months old I’m a good sized medium and will the vet thinks grow bigger. Like most of my counterparts I was abandoned and have never had a bed of my own. Despite my miserable past I am bouncing back and as you see I’m naturally good with other dogs including young, small, old and puppies. Fast forward to June 26’ & I’m blossoming even if I am still at risk. I guess I don’t really understand this though what a tragedy it would be to get this far only for all that hope and trust to come to nothing. It breaks leesa’s heart she said. When I feel that anticipation of being stroked I’ll vocalise this to you & then I am tranquil and start asking for attention. I am gorgeous to look at and tender in my ways. I have been through the mill and now I’m asking to be the hearth of your home & accompany you on strolls in the near by countryside or perhaps a dog friendly cafe in the town.
